You have been systematically deprived of the most important elements of an American education.
In 1962, The United States Supreme Court made one of the most important decisions regarding education in the history of the United States (Engel v. Vitale, 370 US 421 at 443). All nine Justices on the Court knew what Justice Douglas knew, as he wrote in footnote 9 of his opinion:
- Religion was once deemed to be a function of the public school system. The Northwest Ordinance, which antedated the First Amendment, provided in Article III that
- Religion, morality, and knowledge being necessary to good government and the happiness of mankind, schools and the means of education shall forever be encouraged.
Despite knowing the original intent of America's Founding Fathers and founding educators, the Supreme Court proceeded to remove the Christian religion and Christian morality from government-run schools.
It is impossible to teach "knowledge" (reading, writing, arithmetic, etc.) without teaching religion and morality.
